  1. Diet-to-Go Feeding Extreme Brickover 4 Weight Loss Contestants

    And they're off...

The six couples participating in the 8-week Extreme Brickover 4 weight loss challenge weighed in this past Tuesday and are now working out and eating delicious Diet-to-Go meals as they compete to lose weight and win great prizes!

Diet-to-Go again returns as the sole food provider for the contestants Maleena and John Kantorski, Julia Edwards and Sam Miccinilli, Valerie Olivares and David Fiore, Merissa Detwiler and Jayme Katz, Rosalind Andrews and Kevin Williams, and Shubhika Dhawan and Ty Austin.

Good luck everyone! Weekly weigh-ins take place Tuesday mornings; fine dining takes place three times a day, thanks to Diet-to-Go!

"The food is so yummy!" raves Maleena Kantorski. "It doesn't feel like I'm dieting at all! Thank you for this fabulous opportunity!"

    Thank you, Maleena.

Shubhika Dhawan is also excited to be eating our perfectly portioned, chef-created meals.

"The meals are amazing!" she says. "It is hard for me to always eat healthy when I am doing the cooking since my meals generally don't taste nice but these meals are delicious.

"Moreover, I now realize what a portion truly means. My mom and sister in India are extremely jealous that they do not have something like Diet to Go."

Maybe one day Diet-to-Go will conquer the world, but for now we'll stick with making life easier for time-starved men and women coast-to-coast here in America.

Meanwhile, for the full biographies of all 12 contestants and more information about the competition, go to the Brickbodies web page.

The Extreme Brickover 4 challenge is presented by Brick Bodies/Lynne Brick's, ABC2 and Diet-to-Go. It's an 8-week couples weight loss challenge with $20,000 in cash and prizes.

It's also a great way for the 12 contestants to learn what it takes to lead a healthy lifestyle: regular fitness and an eating plan that is perfectly portioned for better health and vitality.

You can follow their progress on the Extreme Brickover Facebook page.

You can also check out weekly video reports each Tuesday on WMAR-TV which is ABC2 in Baltimore.
