Advice for Steve
Hi,
I have been following Steve's blog and his switch to low carb. He seems to have some questions about adding carbs to the low carb diet. Can someone help him out? I don't want him to be unsuccessful and give up on the diet because he added in carbs.
I agree with L
Steve needs some guidance....he is getting a lot of differing advice and I think it is confusing him. He has been told to add carbs, don't add carbs, don't eat protein snacks, etc... He does not want to do an atkins-type low carb plan...he just wants to lower the carb grams in his diet, and eat more protein. I believe getting rid of all the rice and breads will be good for him at this stage, but he needs some well rounded advice about moderate controlled carb eating.
I will write Steve
I will write Steve and put him in touch with our registered dietitian Rebecca Mohning.
Thanks for alerting me to Steve's issues.
I'll look into it
I interviewed Steve a few months ago. I will get back to him and see if he has any issues. Steve has always been a very assured dieter, so I am sure he'll find his way!
Thanks for your concern L.
