    We're Excited to Announce Our New Kitchen!

    Diet-to-Go, a leading provider of fully-prepared meal plans proven to promote natural weight loss and healthy eating, today announced that it has acquired a new meal delivery facility.

    The state-of-the-art kitchen, located in Burbank, California, replaces the company’s current meal delivery facility in Los Angeles. The facility formerly housed Freshology, which shuttered in late 2016.

    Diet-to-Go delivers more than 30,000 meals each week to customers all over the country. The new plant will allow it to expand its operations in the western part of the U.S.

    “This facility is a giant step forward for our company,” said Diet-to-Go founder and CEO Hilton Davis. “Having a new place to prep, cook, package and assemble customer meals will help ensure that our customers on the west coast continue to receive the freshest, tastiest meals possible.”


    Healthy Eating Made Easy for Decades

    Diet-to-Go, founded in 1991, continues to thrive in the fast-growing meal delivery sector by focusing specifically on helping people who need a convenient option to lose weight and eat healthy.

    “In today’s busy, fast-paced world, people need an alternative to fast food that’s healthy and affordable,” Davis said. “Our goal is to make it as easy and affordable as possible for customers to eat healthy. This beautiful kitchen will allow us to better serve our west coast customers and continue to upgrade our already great product line”

    The company continues to be one of the only providers of a pre-prepared delivery meal plan specifically made for people who have Type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, which follows the American Diabetes Association’s nutritional guidelines.

     

    Diet-to-Go also offers three other meal plans. The Balance and Vegetarian plans allow customers to choose their calorie-counts (between 1,200 and 1,600), based on their personal weight loss goals. The low-carb menu follows the Atkins-style diet, with only 30 net carbs per day.

    “Our customers eat delicious fresh-made, healthy meals and learn about proper portion-sizes and nutrition so that they can make changes that will last a lifetime,” Davis said.
