Diet-to-Go is continuously researching new ways to make our packaging even more environmentally-friendly. Our GREATEST priority is freshness and food safety, but we also have to be conscious of how our packaging impacts our planet. You might be surprised to know that research is finding that meal kit delivery has a smaller carbon footprint than grocery shopping!* By choosing meal delivery you are reducing food waste and distribution gas emissions. Once you enjoy your meals, here are ways you can reduce, reuse, and recycle the contents of your shipment.
Cardboard.
All boxes, box liners, and cardboard sleeves are 100% recyclable and be left at the curbside for regular trash pickup.
If you live far from our distribution centers and receive your food in a styrofoam box in order to protect its freshness, please reuse, or check locally for recycling options.
Plastic Containers.
