    When it comes to healthy living and weight loss, many of us get pretty confused. There are so many mixed messages out there:

    • “It’s got to be organic.”
    • “Only eat locally sourced food.”
    • “No sugar. Ever.”
    • “High sodium will kill you.”
    • “Deprive yourself.”
    • “Fasting does the trick.”
    • “Work out an hour a day. Minimum.”

    But how many of these messages are really true? What’s realistic? Can you really commit to never eating sugar? How about spending an hour or more a day in the gym?

    If you’re like most people, the expectations society puts on you to lose weight and get healthy are pretty unrealistic.
