I just finished Week 5 of my Low-Carb diet and my scale tells me I am down another 3 pounds for a grand total of 24 pounds lost to date! Folks, I am so loving this plan. The food is amazing... the weight loss is extraordinary... and my willpower and motivation remain turbocharged! I am averaging just under 5 pounds lost per week! The experts will tell you that 1-2 pounds a week is the best rate, however keep in mind I did drop 10 pounds my first week. I am confident that by the time I reach my overall goal of 190, my weekly weight loss will fall into this average. But for now, seeing the needle -- and my BMI -- drop so much sends a jolt of joy through me each Thursday morning! So what's on tap for today's low-carb meals from Diet-to-Go? Glad you asked. Breakfast: Western Omelet with Fajita Veggies and Sausage Links Lunch: Old Fashioned Pot Roast with Creamy Mushroom Sauce and a Collard Green Mix, and Green Beans & Red Peppers Dinner: Prime Rib with Red Wine Sauce and Kale, and Cauliflower Does anything about this plan even remotely sound "diet?" The portions are very filling. The food is extremely delicious. And the no-fuss approach to heating and eating is phenomenal. If you've got a few pounds (or a lot) to lose, I wholeheartedly suggest you give Diet-to-Go a shot. This is the best diet I've ever followed. Check back next week to see if I hit my first mini-goal of 10% weight loss. I started at 256 pounds -- 10% of that is 25.6 pounds. My scale tells me I am just 0.6 pounds away from reaching that mini-goal of 231.4!!! My current weight is 232. Life is good. Diet-to-Go is great!
